An Evening with UMBC Alumni

Wed, 3/28/2012, 6:00 to 8:00 pm
University Center Ballroom, UMBC

Keynote speaker: Greg Cangialosi ’96,
Baltimore-based Entrepreneur & Investor

This program will provide students an opportunity to network with alumni and get pointers on being successful in the professional world. The evening kicks off with a student & alumni networking reception, followed by a keynote address.

About the keynote: Cangialosi returns to UMBC to share his experiences as an English major turned entrepreneur as he reflects on the beginnings of his career, the founding and sale of his tech marketing firm Blue Sky Factory and what’s next as he seeks to help foster other small businesses in and around Baltimore. Get a unique chance to learn from Cangialosi's experiences and how he made his first million in his talk Blue Skies and Beyond: 5 Lessons from an English Major Turned Entrepreneur.

Registration is encouraged! However, walk-ins are welcome! Dress is business casual.

Students: Please RSVP via the events section of UMBCworks. This event is sure to help ease the stress of networking and allows students a chance to build their portfolio of professional contacts. A full list of alumni professionals will be made available in the weeks leading up to the event.
