Career specialists at the Career Services Center (CSC) are available by appointment to help prepare you for the world of work. They can assist you with:

 

Career & Major Exploration

• Careers? Majors? Occupations? - Where do I start?
• I'm not sure my major is in alignment with my career goals. What do I do now?
• I have no idea what kind of job I'll be able to get with my major. Help!

Resumes, Interviews & More

• Resumes and cover letters
• Interviewing skills - mock interviews
• Salary negotiation and much more

Job Search

• Develop a personalized job seach plan
• Tap the hidden job market
• Learn about alternative job search strategies

Graduate & Professional School

• Identifying schools of interest
• Constructing your resume and personal statement
• Developing a reasonable timeline for applying to graduate or professional school.

Appointments typically run 45-minutes long, are available throughout the week and can be scheduled in person (Math/Psych 212) or by phone (410-455-2216)*.

 

We also offer 15 minute walk-in appointments in the office Monday-Friday 2-4 PM, for quick resume critiques, on-the-spot job search advice, introductory career decision-making guidance. Last Walk-in taken at 15 minutes before the end time (i.e. 3:45PM for the 2-4PM time frame).
